 Late Eoscene Basilosaurus "Shark Toothed Whale "
 Approximately 34-38 Million Years Old Ad-Dakhla. Morocco/ Western Sahara

 Originally thought to be a marine reptile, this was one of the earliest whales and evolved from land dwelling mammals. This is shown in its unusual teeth; unlike modern whales the front teeth had incisors and the back teeth had heavily serrated molars.
