Who is Geological George?
George (Geological George) - George has a postgraduate degree in Mineral Exploration and Geoscience from Curtin University and has worked on a polymetals mine in Kalgoorlie, WA. In 2005 he discovered a partial skeleton what is thought to be an Atlascopcosaurua lodsi/Diluvicuraor pickeringii (there is still considerable debate on the species) dinosaur at the Eric The Red West site in Victoria, Australia. George has featured in the book Dinosaurs of the Dark (Rich and Vickers-Rich 2020). Since then he has been travelling the globe meeting mining contacts and looking for unusual crystal and mineral specimens for Geological George. He is the friendly face and exhuberant chatter at market stalls and gem shows.. but be warned that most questions are met with "the long answer".
Jasmine - Jasmine is a former teacher with a background in Media, Communication and Cultural studies. She is also the engine behind Geological George that keep it running and "relatively" on track.
Tristan (Ballet Boy) - Tristan, child and owner of his own business www.balletboy.au has travelled the world with his family since he was 18 months old. He helps out T at the factory by making the Fossil Dig kits, appearing in the occasional Educational Video and running the "Crack Your Own Geode" activity at the gem shows we attend. His favourite dinosaur is the Pachycephalosaurus.
